I’m a curly haired, green enthusiast trying to find my environmental way in the world. With varying success. On a personal mission to make my life, and therefore that of my boyfriends, as green and sustainable as possible, I cycle, recycle and upcycle.
I am Project Manager for a wonderful charity called Do The Green Thing. I lend my hand to all sorts; from writing and editing witty and insightful blog posts, to sewing and sorting gloves, managing volunteers and generally being creative and helpful.
I write event reviews and topical blogs for Project Dirt, a website that lets you find and add all the green events going on near you. And I also write a weekly post for Ecolutionist.
When I’m not writing I’m usually making something – clothes, bunting, envelopes, bowls. I love making things and if I could make my living with a stick of glue and my Grandma’s old Singer sewing machine then I would. But as long as the bills keep coming in, my craftiness is just part-time. Check out my Folksy shop to see my upcycled creations (and possibly buy a bowl or two).
